Thursday 5 June 2014 10:30-12:00, including lunch
LSC students, in conjunction with Neighborhood Centers,
Inc., and the East Aldine Management District will be sharing conversations and
interviewing Aldine residents about their perceptions, experiences, and
concerns about Aldine. These conversations will be conducted in Spanish and
English.
This is an important opportunity for community leaders in
Aldine to hear from Aldine residents and learn from them about community
strengths and concerns.
This listening session will be conducted in small groups so
that everyone has the occasion to share their experiences and suggestions. This
listening session also will strengthen LSC students’ involvement in the local
community and their professional inquiry community skills.
Lunch will be provided for those who participate. Please
invite Aldine neighbors from work, church/mosque, college students,
recreational teams, families, etc. – all are invited and encouraged to attend.
Our goal is 30 Aldine residents to participate on Thursday 5 June from 10:30 to
12:00.
Please meet in ACAD
218 promptly. Parking is available for free around campus and Metro Route 86
comes to the North Harris campus as well.
