Sorry, I've let my email inbox pile up a little. I didn't get all the emails answered tonight, but I'll get back to them in the morning.

Professor Davis,
I'm not really sure how this blog website works, but hopefully you get this message. I just have a quick question. I'm in your online class 1302 1W002. On the syllabus it says to do Quizzes 19-22 by September 20th, but on the website it has them due on September 30th. Which one do we follow?
Thanks,
Jilleen Bauer

Professor Davis,

I'm in your online class 1302 and I would like to know if there is a reason why exam 1 shows Grade: -/80 instead of -/100?

Jason, I distinctly remember taking those question out, yet they are still there. Blackboard never ceases to amaze me. I think I'm going to get a lot of email this weekend. Don't worry, I will take care of it; and no one's grade will be punished for my error. dld

Professor Davis,
I am in your 1302 online history class. My calendar says that the first test is going to be available on September 21,2009-September 26,2009. Is this information correct or is it available now? Also do we take it on campus or online?
Thank You,
Danielle Burnett

That's right, Danielle. You'll need to take it at an LSC assessment center. It can be at any Lone Star College, including Willow Chase, Greenspoint, and Carver Center. Good luck!

I'm in 1302, our assigned book is "Amusing the Millions" but the quiz online is "The Day the Cowboys Quit"

David L. Davis said...

Mex-tex, I'm still working on the quiz for Amusing the Millions. Ignore the cowboys. They quit.

Danielle said...

Professor Davis,
The 1302 online Class is supposed to be reading the "The Day The Cowboys Quit" right?

Professor Davis,

I'm in your online class 1302 1W002. In the assessments section, it has Exam 1 available to take online. I thought we had to take it on campus. Can we take it online now? Also, the test is just over Chapters 19-22 and not The Day the Cowboys Quit right? I also sent you an emailing through blackboard concerning a mistake I made in submitting Chapter 21. Sorry to ask so many questions.

Thanks,
Jilleen Bauer

Professor Davis,
This is Phuong Dinh from your online class 1320. I did the quiz for chapter 22 and i did not have chance to finish it at first because the blackboard shut down in the middle of time. After about 3 hours, i signed back in and opened the quiz again. Even though the time is expired but i still click on finish. I have a chance to finish my second time, but i want to know if the first time will be count or not, cause the time is expired and when i back in the quiz, i just click on the whatever answer to see if it work.
Thank you,

David L. Davis said...

Lizeth, you can take the exam an any LSC assessment center between now and Saturday. Testing center locations and hours are listed here
http://www.lonestar.edu/testing-centers.htm

Your quizzes are the review for the exam.

David L. Davis said...

Dinh, I can see that program froze up while you were taking the quiz, so I reset the first attempt.
